FAI Interim CEO David Courell is confident of appointing the best candidate for the Ireland manager’s job in time for their UEFA Nations League opener against England in September.

Courell accepts the criticism of the FAI’s prolonged process in naming Stephen Kenny’s successor but he remains comfortable that the right appointment will be made.
