Having ended Rockmount’s three-in-row ambitions, Ringmahon Rangers are still hoping the FAI Cup Intermediate Cup rests on Leeside when they participate in their first-ever final on Sunday.

Another Cork heavyweight in the competition’s history, Avondale, were surpassed in the second of six rounds they hurdled to set up the decider against Glebe North. The latest of Avondale’s seven titles over a 13-year period was landed in 2021.
