Shelbourne issue lifetime ban to fan for throwing object at offical

In their statement Shelbourne stated "As a club, we uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards any behaviour that endangers the safety of players, officials, and fellow supporters."

Shelbourne FC has issued a lifetime ban following a disciplinary process to the fan who threw an object at the match official during last Friday's SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division clash against Drogheda United at Weavers Park.

The incident occured in injury time of the 2-2 draw and play was suspended for 15 minutes.
