Sporting's Ruben Amorim verbally agrees deal to become Jurgen Klopp's successor — reports 

39-year-old Amorim is said to have negotiated a three-year contract to replace the German, but that a deal is yet to be finalised between the Premier League and Liga Portugal outfits.

Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim has verbally agreed a deal in principle to become Jurgen Klopp's successor as Liverpool manager, according to reports by Sky Germany

Liverpool — having faced competition from fellow European giants Bayern Munich — are reported to have won the race for Amorim's signature, who the club have been linked with since Klopp announced his impending departure after nine years at the end of the current campaign.
