Ringmahon Rangers – the club that produced Republic of Ireland internationals Caoimhin Kelleher and Alan Browne – have finally qualified for a FAI Intermediate Cup final, and they did so by defeating defending champions Rockmount 2-0 at Carrig Park in Fermoy on Friday evening.

Jack Cairns and Jamie O’Sullivan got the goals for the team, who will face Glebe North of Dublin in the final. The Leinster Senior League side were also in action on Friday, and they overcame Wayside Celtic.
