Marc Canham has stuck to the party line on the FAI’s managerial search despite their No 1 target Lee Carsley ruling himself out of the vacancy.

It’s understood despite repeated efforts to tempt the ex-Ireland midfielder from his position in charge of Euro U21 champions England, he’s decided to stay put.
