Galway sorry for 'Murder on the Dancefloor' post with player who caused death by dangerous driving

Edward McCarthy was given a two-year suspended sentence and banned from driving for seven years after pleading guilty to dangerous driving causing the death of Andrzej Obalek.

Galway United have 'apologised unreservedly' for posting an image of a player who has been banned from driving following an incident which resulted in the death of a father of two, holding a STOP traffic sign.

The post was accompanied by the song ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ on social media.
