Former Cork City defender Éabha O'Mahony is to link up with Shelbourne on the completion of her studies in the United States.
Ireland international O'Mahony has most recently been plying her trade with top University outfit Texas Longhorns, and is set to link up with Eoin Wearen's Shels in the coming weeks on her return from America.
The 21-year-old departed City for the US and Boston College Eagles back in 2021, immediately after completing her secondary school studies.
Upon completing the move to Shels, O'Mahony said: "I'm really glad to be signing with Shelbourne for the upcoming season.
"We have a fantastic team this year and I'm looking forward to playing some football on this side of the pond.
"I can't wait to join the girls for the season and embrace the challenge. I'm looking forward to working hard and showing how I have progressed over the few years I've been away from the league.
"My ultimate objective is to achieve success in terms of winning trophies, and I'm excited about the prospect of accomplishing this ambition alongside my new teammates."
