Police are to contact Aston Villa and Brentford to find out further details after Ollie Watkins said a spectator was abusing him "all game" during the sides' Premier League clash on Sunday.

Watkins scored a late winner as Villa came from behind to beat the striker's old club 2-1 at the Gtech Community Stadium, with his celebrations sparking an on-field melee.
