Peamount United big winners at Women's Premier Division Awards

The 2023 SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division Awards were held this evening and Peamount United were the big winners on the night at Clontarf Castle in Dublin.
League winners Peamount had five individuals shortlisted for awards in Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Manager of the Year categories.
Sadhbh Doyle was named Player of the Year while James O'Callaghan won the Manager of the Year and five players named in the Premier Division Team of the Year.Â
Goalkeeper Niamh Reid-Burke won the Bank of Ireland Golden Gloves award. Peamount club administrators Katie Thompson and Elaine Harrington were recognised with the Services to Women's Football Award with Wexford Youths Secretary Dave Cassin was honoured as well in this category.
Shamrock Rovers wing back Lia O'Leary was named Young Player of the Year while Athlone Town's forward Dana Scheriff won the EVOKE.ie Golden Boot award.Â
Wexford Youths forward Ceola Bergin and Athlone Town defender Mary Philips picked up the EA SPORTS League of Ireland Academy Player of the Years awards for U19 and U17 levels respectively.
