Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr sidelined with thigh injury

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has been sidelined with an injury to his hamstring and tendon, the LaLiga club said on Saturday, dealing another blow to the club that has struggled with several long-term injuries this season.

Vinicius was forced off with a thigh injury during Brazil's 2-1 loss to Colombia in a World Cup qualifier on Thursday, and the 23-year-old returned to his club for further checks.
