This weekend's Men's FAI Cup final between Bohemians and St Patrick’s Athletic is on course to break the game's record attendance.

Over 40,000 tickets have been sold for the Aviva Stadium fixture.

Shamrock Rovers' victory over Bohs in the 1945 decider in front of a crowd of 41,238 at Dalymount Park holds the record presently.

Sunday’s game will be the second time in three years that the sides have met in the cup decider. St Pat's won that Dublin derby in front of an audience of 37,126 at Lansdowne Road.

RTÉ 2 will show this the game, which has a 3pm kick-off.
