FAI seeks agreement to expand board

The association has warned voting members that failure to meet it's gender balanace target will result in significant financial and reputation all damage.

The FAI has proposed expanding it's board from 12 to 14 at a virtual EGM on Thursday, November 9 in a bid to reach its the 40% gender balance target demanded by the Government.

Under the constitutional change, which requires 75% agreement by its 139-strong General Assembly, the eve split of football and independent directors remains.
