Stoke City sign Ireland defender Ciaran Clark on short-term contract

Stoke have signed Republic of Ireland defender Ciaran Clark on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

Clark, 34, was released by Newcastle in the summer following a spell on loan with Sheffield United last season.
