Cork City have altered their management structure amid a run of poor league form that has seen them struggle to climb out of the Premier Division relegation play-off spot.
City have announced that Richie Holland is to take over the men’s first team for the remainder of the 2023 season, while Liam Buckley will pivot his focus to the full-time role of sporting director, which he took on in May. Buckley had been to the fore of management duties since the summer.
