Watford boss Claudio Ranieri is firmly in favour of allowing teams to make five substitutions after the International Football Association Board’s advisory panel recommended making the option permanent.
An increase to five available substitutes was introduced on a temporary basis in May last year and was later extended until the end of 2022, when the World Cup in Qatar will be completed.
