FAI Cup wrap: Galway survive early scare

Waterford easily accounted for Maynooth University Town in today's FAI Cup first round, but Galway were given a scare at Collinstown, eventually edging through 2-1.

There had been no giant-killing upsets on Friday or Saturday, but Leinster Senior League outfit Collinstown came closest to causing a shock ahead of this evening’s second-round draw.
