Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been charged with improper conduct following his dismissal during last night's Champions League match, FIFA has announced.

Pep Guardiola has been charged with two counts of misconduct by UEFA following Manchester City's Champions League loss to Liverpool, the European governing body has announced.

The Manchester City manager was sent to the stands at half-time of Tuesday's game at the Etihad Stadium for complaining to referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz over a disallowed Leroy Sane goal.
