Update 6.07pm: Leicester City has confirmed that they have parted company with manager Craig Shakespeare.

Michael Appleton will take charge as caretaker manager for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Swansea City, supported by first team coaches Mike Stowell and Adam Sadler.
