Pitch inspection needed in Serbia after torrential rain

The inspection is expected to take place at 6.15pm, with the game due to kick off at 7.45pm.

Referee Victor Kassai is to hold a pitch inspection ahead of the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Serbia in Belgrade tonight.

The FAI has confirmed that the Hungarian official will take a look at the playing surface at the Rajko Mitic Stadium following torrential rain in the city during the afternoon.
