Didier Drogba's was shown the tenth red card of his career after a moment of madness saw him knee DC United's Marcelo Servas.

A tussle for the ball in the 80th minute resulted in Drogba shove his knee into Servas' back, with the referee standing right in front of the incident.

The official had no choice but to send the Montreal Impact striker off as his side trailed 1-0.

10-man Montreal side were rescued however as Hernan Bernardello secured a draw with a goal in the 86th minute.

Drogba will now miss Saturday's clash with Houston following his first MLS sending off.
