Sunderland ‘angry and frustrated’ by Sam Allardyce reports

Sam Allardyce will be named the new England manager in the next 24 hours with Sunderland expressing their "anger and frustration" over his impending appointment.

It’s understood the 61-year-old is expected to be announced as Roy Hodgson's successor on Thursday, but the Black Cats, who revealed disquiet over the process last week, were largely keeping their own counsel on Wednesday night.
