Real Madrid exercise buy-back option on Alvaro Morata

Reports have for some time linked the Spain striker, who scored three goals at Euro 2016, with an immediate move from Real Madrid to the Premier League.

Real Madrid have officially activated a buy-back clause to re-sign their former striker Alvaro Morata from Juventus, the Serie A champions have announced.

The 23-year-old scored 27 goals in 93 appearances for the Old Lady after moving to the Juventus Stadium in 2014.
