Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has signed a new deal with the FAI that will see him stay on as manager of the national side for the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill and his assistant Roy Keane have signed new contracts through to the end of the 2018 World Cup.

O'Neill took over during qualifying for the 2014 World Cup after Giovanni Trapattoni was sacked when Ireland's hopes of reaching Brazil ended, and he has led the side to Euro 2016.
