Head coach Steve Evans has left Leeds, the Championship club have announced.

Steve Evans' protracted departure from Leeds has been confirmed tonight, with the Sky Bet Championship club saying they wanted to go in a different direction to the Scot.

Evans' exit had been on the cards for some weeks, with the 53-year-old publicly calling for clarity on his future while controversial owner Massimo Cellino interviewed other candidates for his job.
