Sunderland defender Emmanuel Eboue will be banned for one year unless he settles a pay dispute with a former agent.

The 32-year-old Ivorian, who only signed for the Black Cats as a free agent on March 9, has been sanctioned by FIFA's disciplinary committee for failing to pay his former representative Sebastien Boisseau.
