Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini insists victory in the Capital One Cup has given him more confidence he can go out on a high.

A 3-1 penalty shoot-out win over Liverpool at Wembley secured the Chilean's third trophy in as many seasons - the League Cup was his first one two years ago.
