Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew joined his West Ham counterpart Slaven Bilic in hoping Premier League clubs do not end up with empty stadia as a result of rising ticket prices.

Last weekend, an estimated 10,000 Liverpool fans staged a walk-out of Anfield during their league match against Sunderland in protest at increases next season which included a new £77 match ticket and the club's first £1,000 season ticket.
