Samir Nasri needed nearly 100 stitches after freak injury training with Man City

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has revealed he needed almost 100 stitches in the thigh muscle which has kept him sidelined since October.

The French playmaker is hoping to return to action in March, having initially feared his season had been ended when he damaged his thigh muscle and tendon in a freak training injury.
