Striker misses shot taken three yards from empty goal

Maccabi Tel Aviv player Barak Itzhaki is an early contender for miss of the year after this absolute howler last night in the Israeli State Cup.

Opponents Ironi Ramat Hasharon left the attacker unmarked just three yards in front of an open goal, but he still failed to score.

Luckily for Itzhaki, his side were 3-1 up at the time so he could afford to laugh about it.
