Fifa ban Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini for eight years

Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini have both been been banned for eight years from all football-related activities, Fifa’s ethics committee has announced.

They have been kicked out of the sport over a $2m payment Mr Blatter approved for Mr Platini in 2011.
