Football fans are getting ready for the first Monday Night Football show since Gary Neville’s shock departure.

Co-host Jamie Carragher was dropping hints last night about who would be stepping into the shoes of his BFF, describing them as “very lively”.

The rumour was that it was his ex-Liverpool teammate Craig Bellamy, but Carra quickly let fans know that there wasn’t going to be a permanent replacement.

Instead, they are going to have a different guest every week for the moment.

In the last hour the show have confirmed that it is indeed the notoriously hot-headed Bellamy who’ll be in the studio tonight.
