FIFA ethics judge opens case against Blatter and Platini

Fifa has formally opened proceedings against Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini and hopes to give verdicts before the new year.

A spokesman for Fifa ethics judge Joachim Eckert said Mr Blatter and Mr Platini “will be invited to submit positions including any evidence” and can request hearings.
