VIDEO: Wayne Rooney slaps WWE's Wade Barrett at Monday Night Raw

Wayne Rooney got into it with an opponent of a very kind last night - facing off against WWE wrestler Wade Barrett.

The player was in the audience for Monday Night Raw in Manchester when Barrett kicked off the conflict by insulting his football talents from the ring.

When Barrett made his way down to continue the row face-to-face Rooney delivered the world’s most unconvincing slap to the face and Barrett flung himself to the ground in a move Ashley Young would be proud of.
