Bournemouth v Newcastle Saturday November 7 12.45pm

Bournemouth: Bournemouth wait on fitness of Boruc and Cook

Bournemouth will assess the fitness of goalkeeper Artur Boruc (thigh) and defender Steve Cook (ankle/foot) ahead of Saturday’s Barclays Premier League match against Newcastle.

Adam Federici came into the side for both the Capital One Cup tie at Liverpool and league defeat at Southampton, so is on standby again should Poland international Boruc remain unavailable.

Republic of Ireland midfielder Harry Arter will be looking for another chance to improve his match fitness having just returned to the side from a hip problem. Captain Tommy Elphick (ankle) continues his rehabilitation, while Callum Wilson, Tyrone Mings and Max Gradel (all knee) are all long-term absentees.

Provisional Squad: Federici, Francis, Smith, Daniels, Distin, Gosling, Pugh, Surman, Ritchie, Arter, Murray, Allsop, MacDonald, Cargill, Kermorgant, Stanislas, Tomlin, King, Cook, Boruc.

Newcastle: Rob Elliott fit for Newcastle to face Bournemouth

Rob Elliot has declared himself fit to spare Newcastle a goalkeeping crisis ahead of Saturday’s Barclays Premier League trip to Bournemouth.

The Republic of Ireland international aggravated a thigh injury during last weekend’s 0-0 home draw with Stoke with Tim Krul (cruciate ligament) and Karl Darlow (ankle) already out, but with 18-year-old Freddie Woodman waiting in the wings, Elliot has returned to training and is available.

Full-backs Daryl Janmaat (knee) and Kevin Mbabu (hamstring) are also fit, but defenders Steven Taylor (hamstring) and Massadio Haidara (groin), midfielders Jack Colback (knee), Gabriel Obertan (hamstring) and Rolando Aarons (ankle) and striker Emmanuel Riviere (knee) are still out.

Provisional squad: Elliot, Woodman, Janmaat, Mbabu, Dummett, Coloccini, Mbemba, Lascelles, Anita, Tiote, Wijnaldum, Sissoko, Thauvin, De Jong, Gouffran, Mitrovic, Cisse, Perez, Toney.

West Ham v Everton Saturday November 7 3pm

West Ham: Sakho and Collins absent for Everton clash

West Ham striker Diafra Sakho will miss the visit of Everton due to a thigh injury.

Defenders Winston Reid (knee) and Angelo Ogbonna (hamstring) are fit after spells out, and one of them will replace the suspended James Collins at centre-back.

Midfielder Alex Song will not be involved, but he has been pencilled in for a friendly next week to build up his match-fitness following a summer ankle operation.

Provisional squad: Adrian, Randolph, Tomkins, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Hendrie, Jenkinson, O’Brien, Oxford, Noble, Obiang, Kouyate, Cullen, Payet, Antonio, Moses, Lanzini, Zarate, Valencia, Carroll, Jelavic.

Everton: Galloway set to continue at left-back for Everton

Bryan Oviedo will have to come out of Everton’s starting line-up against West Ham, but Leighton Baines is not yet fit enough to replace him.

Costa Rica international Oviedo strained his hamstring in the first half of Sunday’s 6-2 win over Sunderland and could miss up to three weeks, meaning 19-year-old Brendan Galloway may have to fill in at left-back once more.

Baines, who is yet to play this season following ankle surgery, is back in full training, along with Tom Cleverley (ankle) and Muhamed Besic (hamstring), but his return will come in a behind-closed-doors friendly over the international break. Steven Pienaar (hamstring) and Tony Hibbert (knee) should also be back in the mix later this month.

Provisional squad: Howard, Robles, Stones, Funes Mori, Coleman, Browning, Galloway, McCarthy, Barkley, Cleverley, Barry, Gibson, Osman, Lennon, Naismith, Deulofeu, Mirallas, Kone, Lukaku.

Leicester City v Watford Saturday November 7 3pm

Leicester City: No injury worries for Leicester team ahead of Watford clash

Leicester have no injury concerns for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Watford.

England forward Jamie Vardy is poised to lead the Foxes into the encounter looking to score in a ninth consecutive Premier League game, with few worries over an Achilles niggle.

Leonardo Ulloa, who returned from a thigh problem against West Brom, could start again alongside Vardy.

Provisional squad: Schmeichel, Schwarzer, Moore, Simpson, De Laet, Morgan, Chilwell, Benalouane, Huth, Fuchs, Wasilewski, King, Inler, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Mahrez, Kante, Ulloa, Dyer, Kramaric, Okazaki, Dodoo, Vardy.

Watford: Ighalo ready to face Leicester despite injury

Watford’s top scorer Odion Ighalo will be available for his side’s Barclays Premier League trip to Leicester on Saturday.

Ighalo limped off with a dead leg in Watford’s win at West Ham after a heavy challenge from James Collins, but the Nigerian striker will be fit to face the high-flying Foxes.

Jose Manuel Jurado, who has not featured since September with a hamstring injury sustained in training, remains sidelined. Tommie Hoban (groin) and Joel Ekstrand (knee) are long-term absentees.

Provisional squad: Gomes, Arlauskis, Gilmartin, Nyom, Cathcart, Prodl, Ake, Paredes, Britos, Holebas, Belkalem, Capoue, Behrami, Dyer, Watson, Guedioura, Anya, Jurado, Layun, Berghuis, Pudil, Behrami, Abdi, Oulare, Diamanti, Ighalo, Deeney.

Norwich City v Swansea City Saturday November 7 3pm

Norwich City: Matt Jarvis missing for clash with Swansea

Norwich are without Matt Jarvis for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League visit of Swansea.

The on-loan West Ham winger tweaked knee ligaments in last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at Manchester City and Canaries boss Alex Neil is expecting the 29-year-old to be missing for several weeks.

There is better news for fellow loanees Andre Wisdom (knee) and Dieumerci Mbokani (illness) who both return to the squad in time for the weekend but club captain Russell Martin is suspended after being sent off at the Etihad Stadium.

Provisional squad: Ruddy, Whittaker, Bassong, Olsson, Tettey, Dorrans, Brady, Howson, Redmond, Mbokani, Rudd, Jerome, Hoolahan, Wisdom, Bennett, Grabban, O’Neil, Mulumbu.

Swansea City: Swans at full strength for Norwich trip

Swansea boss Garry Monk has a full-strength squad to choose from for his side’s Barclays Premier League trip to Norwich on Saturday.

Monk is keen for his side to bounce back from last weekend’s 3-0 home defeat to Arsenal and could make changes with Leon Britton and Modou Barrow pushing to start after coming off the bench against the Gunners.

Meanwhile wide man Wayne Routledge will also be keen to get involved after shrugging off a recent calf problem.

Provisional squad: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Cork, Shelvey, Montero, Ayew, Sigurdsson, Gomis, Nordfeldt, Rangel, Bartley, Amat, Tabanou, Ki, Britton, Routledge, Emnes, Barrow, Eder, Grimes.

Sunderland v Southampton Saturday November 7 3pm

Sunderland: Lee Cattermole to miss Saints game with groin injury

Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce will be without Lee Cattermole for their Barclays Premier League clash with Southampton at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Cattermole limped out of last week’s 6-2 defeat at Everton with a recurrence of a long-standing groin problem and has been ruled out until after the international break.

But John O’Shea (hamstring), Younes Kaboul (groin), Ola Toivonen (groin) and Fabio Borini (ankle) are all available for selection again after missing last week’s defeat due to injury.

Provisional squad: Pantilimon, Mannone, Jones, Van Aanholt, Yedlin, Matthews, O’Shea, Kaboul, Coates, Brown, M’Vila, Larsson, Gomez, Johnson, Toivonen, Lens, Borini, Defoe, Fletcher, Watmore.

Southampton: Victor Wanyama unavailable due to ban

Victor Wanyama will miss Southampton’s Premier League trip to Sunderland after picking up a one-match ban.

Wanyama was sent off for a second bookable offence towards the end of last week’s victory over Bournemouth, and Harrison Reed could step up to the team for the clash against Sam Allardyce’s men.

Jay Rodriguez and Shane Long are once again unable to feature despite both forwards inching towards full fitness after knee and foot injuries respectively.

Provisional squad: Stekelenburg, K Davis, Gazzaniga, Soares, Martina, Caulker, Yoshida, Van Dijk, Fonte, Bertrand, Targett, Clasie, S Davis, Reed, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Mane, Juanmi, Ramirez, Tadic, Pelle.

Manchester United v West Brom Saturday November 7 3pm

Manchester United: Schneiderlin is an illness doubt

Midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has returned to training following his illness but is still a doubt for Manchester United’s home game against West Brom.

Ashley Young looks set to continue at right-back as Matteo Darmian is suspended and Antonio Valencia is still out with a foot injury.

Long-term absentees Luke Shaw (leg) and Paddy McNair (abdomen) remain sidelined.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Romero, Johnstone, Jones, Rojo, Tuanzebe, Smalling, Mata, Carrick, Blind, Young, Herrera, Fellaini, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Lingard, Depay, Pereira, Martial, Rooney, Wilson.

West Brom: Tony Pulis guarded over line-up to face Man United

Tony Pulis refused to name the players doubtful for West Brom’s trip to Manchester United but admitted he will assess “one or two” of his squad.

The Baggies travelled to Manchester on Friday morning as head coach Pulis wanted to give them more recovery time ahead of the game at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Jonny Evans will make his first return to United after leaving for £8 million in the summer, along with keeper Anders Lindegaard, while Darren Fletcher is the third former Red Devil in Pulis’ squad. Ben Foster is closing in on a comeback from a long-term knee injury but is not yet available.

Provisional squad: Myhill, Lindegaard, Rose, Gamboa, Chester, Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Evans, Brunt, Gardner, Yacob, Morrison, McManaman, McClean, Sessegnon, Fletcher, Gnabry, Berahino, Anichebe, Lambert, Rondon.

Stoke City v Chelsea Saturday November 7 5.30pm

Stoke City: Defender Geoff Cameron fit to face Chelsea

Geoff Cameron is back in the Stoke squad for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Chelsea.

The USA international has missed the last two games because of a thigh problem but is fully fit again.

Fellow defender Marc Muniesa (hamstring) is expected to miss a couple more weeks and keeper Shay Given (knee) is also out but Phil Bardsley returns after serving a one-match ban.

Provisional squad: Butland, Haugaard, Shawcross, Wollscheid, Wilson, Johnson, Pieters, Bardsley, Whelan, Adam, Ireland, Sidwell, Van Ginkel, Arnautovic, Bojan, Shaqiri, Afellay, Walters, Crouch, Joselu, Odemwingie, Diouf.

Chelsea: Ivanovic available for trip to Stoke

Right-back Ivanovic has been absent in recent weeks with a hamstring injury, but is available again.

Striker Radamel Falcao is out for a few weeks after sustaining an undisclosed injury in training on Tuesday, while goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (knee) remains sidelined.

Provisional squad: Begovic, Fabregas, Zouma, Rahman, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Mikel, Traore, Kenedy, Pedro, Costa, Matic, Willian, Cahill, Terry, Blackman, Azpilicueta, Loftus-Cheek.

Aston Villa: Micah Richards set to return for Aston Villa after suspension

Micah Richards is available to face former club Manchester City in Remi Garde’s first game in charge at Aston Villa.

The defender missed Monday’s defeat at Tottenham through suspension but could return with rock bottom Villa looking to end a run of seven straight league defeats on Sunday.

Gabby Agbonlahor came off at half time against Spurs with a tight calf while Ashley Westwood should recover after being hit in the face at White Hart Lane and Idrissa Gana and Adama Traore are expected to return after being rested.

The 29-year-old, who has also not been included in the Spain squad for the upcoming friendlies against England and Belgium, has missed six games with an ankle injury but was thought to be close to returning.

Striker Sergio Aguero, midfielder Samir Nasri and defender Pablo Zabaleta are also still out but midfielder Fabian Delph could make the bench against his former club.

Provisional squad: Hart, Caballero, Sagna, Maffeo, Kompany, Otamendi, Demichelis, Mangala, Clichy, Kolarov, Toure, Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph, Sterling, De Bruyne, Navas, Bony, Iheanacho, Roberts, Garcia.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace Sunday November 8 4pm

Liverpool: Coutinho set for recall

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to recall playmaker Philippe Coutinho for Sunday’s visit of Crystal Palace.

The Brazil international, scorer of two goals in last weekend’s win at Chelsea, was rested for the midweek win against Rubin Kazan in Russia as was Adam Lallana, centre-back Martin Skrtel and midfielder Lucas Leiva, and most are expected to regain their places.

Captain Jordan Henderson is gradually edging closer to fitness after an operation on a broken foot and has started some light running sessions but he is still a few weeks away from being in contention.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno, Lucas, Milner, Can, Firmino, Coutinho, Benteke, Bogdan, Toure, Lovren, Allen, Brannagan, Lallana, Ibe, Origi, Teixeira.

Crystal Palace: Dwight Gayle an injury doubt for trip to Anfield

Dwight Gayle faces a late fitness test on his hamstring before Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew selects his starting XI for Sunday’s Premier League fixture at Liverpool.

The forward’s potential absence further weakens Pardew’s options, with Connor Wickham and Marouane Chamakh also out, though both are expected to return following the international break.

Lee Chung-yong is struggling with a foot injury and is therefore also expected to miss out, but Pape Souare is in line to feature after returning to full fitness.

Provisional squad: McCarthy, Hennessey, Speroni, Bamford, Bolasie, Cabaye, Campbell, Dann, Delaney, Gayle, Hangeland, Jedinak, Kelly, Ledley, Mariappa, McArthur, Mutch, Puncheon, Sako, Souare, Ward, Wickham, Zaha.

Captain Mikel Arteta (ankle) faces a fitness test, while goalkeeper David Ospina could return from a shoulder problem. Forward Theo Walcott (calf), midfielders Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey (both hamstring), Jack Wilshere (fibula), forward Danny Welbeck and Czech playmaker Tomas Rosicky (both knee) all continue their rehabilitation.

Summer signing Son Heung-min is available again following six weeks out with a foot problem, but Nabil Bentaleb and Nacer Chadli are both out with ankle injuries.
