WATCH: Spectacular mid-air kick from Gareth Bale while dive-bombing into a pool

Gareth Bale posted a short video clip on Twitter this afternoon, captioned: “Just getting some last minute practice in before La Liga kicks off!”.

Given that the Welshman earns millions playing football for Real Madrid, we hoped for a clip of him working out in the gym, or running drills on a pitch.

Y’know, generally being seen to at least work hard for his ridiculous wages.

But no, it was video of him dive-bombing into a pool, while pulling off an outrageous mid-air volley.

Sigh.

Blue sky, sunshine, outdoor pool.
