VIDEO: Young Leeds mascot gives brutally honest answer to announcer's question

Well, he did ask.

A young mascot stole the show at Leeds United’s final pre-season game on Saturday against Everton.

The stadium announcer had gathered the mascots on the Elland Road pitch for a playful Q&A before kick-off, but didn’t get the answer he expected from one of the youngsters.

After asking the second young man what he though the score would be, the announcer followed with do you think Leeds will go up (to the Premier League) this year and the answer he got was rather blunt.

Well, at least he's realistic!

Leeds went on to beat a youthful Everton side 2-0 with goals from new signing Chris Wood and this beauty of an opener from Alex Mowatt.
