WATCH: Dog sends footballer flying with ferocious four-legged challenge

Forget the two-footed lunge, this pooch has taken tackling to the next level.

Pity German footballer Lina Magull. As if worrying about tackles from the opposing team wasn’t enough - Magull was levelled by an unprovoked assault by a spectator, of the canine variety.

We only have a few seconds of video, so can’t say what triggered this dog to take to the field during a pre-season match in Germany, but the animal certainly appeared to be gunning for Magull.
