WATCH: Luis Suarez shows his honesty when praised by a fan: ‘I’m not the best’

Luis Suarez showed real honesty and a sense of humour yesterday during a signing session with fans.

He is on a pre-season tour of the United States with Barcelona, and last night scored in a 2-1 win against MLS champions LA Galaxy.

But Suarez proved he hasn’t let fame go to his head while chatting with a young boy who told him he’s the best.

Suarez immediately answered: “I’m not the best”.

“Who is the best?” he then asked. “Eh?”

When the fan answered, “Messi”, Suarez laughed and agreed with him.

His biting and fighting reputation may precede him, but at heart, it looks like Suarez is a pretty decent guy.

He also enjoyed a reunion with former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard at the match in Pasadena.
