The 19-year-old is enjoying a close season break with friends and was caught lying on the streets of Tenerife.

Several photographs of the 19-year-old lying on the floor were posted on Twitter by Briony King, who described the footballer as being “paralytic”.

The club has since released a statement on the matter.

“The club is aware of the photographs of Jack Grealish currently circulating,” said an Aston Villa statement.

“We will be meeting with the player but any action will remain an internal matter.”

Paddy Power, of course, couldn’t miss an opportunity for a dig at the player’s current nationality dilemma. .
