VIDEO: Alexis Sanchez rescues fan from police

Kind-hearted Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez intervened to help a fan being restrained by police in South America this week.

Sanchez is on international duty with Chile at the moment and the young supporter tried to approach him as he was about to get into a vehicle.

She was surrounded by police who moved quickly to bundle her away from the footballer and his entourage.

Sanchez saw what was happening and called to the police to take it easy on the fan. He walked over and checked that she was ok, putting an arm around her.

He then posed for a photo with the girl before sending her on her way . What a gent.
