Former Fifa vice president Jack Warner has left a Trinidad jail by ambulance, a day after he was charged over the US corruption case.

Former Fifa vice president Jack Warner has left a Trinidad jail by ambulance, a day after he was charged over the US corruption case that has seen more than a dozen international football officials and businessmen arrested.

Judicial officer Ibrahim Ali said Warner complained of exhaustion and was not able to face questions from reporters gathered for several hours outside the jail.
