Wembley official left red-faced after spelling mistake on tickets
Officials at Wembley Stadium have apologised for getting one of the Championship play-off teams wrong on the tickets.
A misprint saw Middlesbrough spelt “Middlesborough”, with an incorrect extra ’o’ on tickets for their game against Norwich City on Bank Holiday Monday.
Although embarrassing for Wembley, with the game completely sold out, any Middlesbrough fans who have tickets are probably willing to overlook the spelling mistake.

The play-off match has often been described as sport’s most lucrative one-off, given the Premier League riches that go to the winner.
A Wembley Stadium spokesman apologised, saying: “It was a human error”.
