VIDEO: Gerrard: 'I've loved every minute' with Liverpool
Steven Gerrard addressed a packed press conference this afternoon ahead of his final home appearance for Liverpool this Saturday.
The Kop hero spoke about his love for Liverpool FC and answered questions about both the highs and the low points of his club career.
“I’ve loved every minute of representing this club and the supporters," he said. "Every single game I’ve tried to do my best."
Unsurprisingly, he named winning the Champions League in Istanbul in 2005 as the pinnacle of his career.
Gerrard on Istanbul: "It was the best night of my life. It's going to go down in history as the best ever Champions League Final."

And admitted that not lifting the Premier League trophy would always be his major regret.
Gerrard: “I look back at pride with what I’ve achieved here, but not winning the Premier League is a regret I will go away with.” #LFC

He also found time to have a cheeky dig at the neighbours.
Gerrard: "My favourite game at Anfield would be when I scored a hat trick against Everton after all the stick I've taken from Bluenoses."

Gerrard said there is a good chance he will shed a tear on Saturday - if he does we have a feeling he won’t be the only one.

There'll be a lot of people with something in their eye at Anfield on Saturday evening, although Crystal Palace beware - Gerrard intends for his final home performance to be a winning one.
