Twitter reacts to Coutinho’s place in the PFA team of the year

The PFA have announced their team of the year and one inclusion in particular is getting a lot of attention.

Unsurprisingly League leaders Chelsea have six entries, along with one each for Arsenal, Tottenham, Southampton, Manchester United and Liverpool.

It is the Liverpool player who has caused consternation on Twitter - as football fans get their heads around the fact the Philippe Coutinho has made the team, in particular his inclusion ahead of Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas.

There is a minority support for his place in the team, but the majority of the reaction has been baffled negativity.
