Gutierrez to return for Newcastle

Jonas Gutierrez will return to the Newcastle squad for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League clash with Swansea after settling his differences with head coach John Carver.

The 31-year-old Argentinian, who has returned to fitness after winning his battle against testicular cancer, was conspicuous by his absence from the matchday 18 for Sunday’s 3-1 home defeat by Tottenham, and Carver later declined to discuss the situation.
