Stoke were playing the Premier League table-toppers Chelsea this evening, and the fans at Stamford Bridge may have seen the goal of the season.

It came a few minutes after

Charlie Adam got the ball in his own half, and on noticing that Thibaut Courtois was off his line, the Stoke midfielder launched the ball from all of 65 yards over the Belgian's head to score the equaliser.
