Joey Barton: Zlatan ‘lacks class’
Joey Barton, obviously unfamiliar with the phrase “the pot calling the kettle black”, described fellow footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic as lacking class.

Barton, who played in the French Ligue One with Marseille for the 2012/2013 season, was asked on the European Football Show what he thought of the incident.
“The way he’s handled himself afterwards lacks an awful amount of class,” Barton answered.
The clip ends before we get to see his fellow panellists’ reaction, but they would have done well to keep a straight face. Barton was sent off last month during a Premier League game for punching a player in the groin. In 2012 he was hit with a record 12-match ban for two counts of violent conduct.
While playing in France, he had this run-in with Ibrahimovic, which Barton reacted to by mocking the size of the Swedish player’s nose.
