Sky News sorry for ‘bog-trotting’ comments about Stephanie Roche’s former club

Sky News have apologised after one of its paper reviewers referred to Peamount United as “some bog-trotting side” on air yesterday morning.

Stephanie Roche’s Puskas nomination was discussed during the review of the morning papers and they showed a clip of her scoring the famous goal for the Dublin side.
