Today is not a good day for Brazilian football

The sooner today is over the better for Brazilian football fans, as jokers take advantage of the date to remind them of the thrashing Germany gave them in the World Cup.

One man who is definitely sick of the jokes is Brazilian centre-back Dante, who plays for Bayern Munich. The Guardian reports today that he asked German team-mate Thomas Muller to stop joking about the infamous match in Belo Horizonte.

“We can joke about anything, but not about this,” Dante said. “Not all the Germans were like this but Thomas is the big joker. I said to him: ‘If you don’t stop, I’m going to hit you in every training session.’
“This doesn’t make me laugh and when someone doesn’t laugh, it means they are annoyed.”
Let’s hope Dante isn’t on Twitter.
